Energy Portion of Stimulus Package Not Likely to Benefit Unemployed

It is unlikely that the green energy bill will create the millions of new jobs the Obama’s Administration claims, according to NCPA Senior Fellow H. Sterling Burnett. Outside of tax cuts, funding for “green” energy is likely to be the largest single portion of the stimulus package, Burnett noted, and has been touted to create millions of new jobs.
