Waste and Recycling

All human activities produce byproducts. NCPA scholars believe that in a competitive market economy, waste is minimized because it is inefficient. More efficient technologies replace older less efficient technologies. Where it is a more cost effective means of handling waste, recycling will arise naturally. Except where public health is at immediate threat, government should not dictate the method by which citizens or communities dispose of waste.
